June 22,2020 You know it's a rough week when most of your pictures are of food🥗🍲

Oiiiii!! How are things? Nothing much is new on this side of the globe. I'm still in Dublin which is actually quite the accomplishment we are going on 37 weeks... time flies. I absolutely love it here, never a dull moment- even when we are stuck inside.

As you may notice attached are pictures if the meals we ate this week (shoutout to babs for providing the meat🙌🏼) we decided to mix it up this week we've been eating the same things for over 100 days now so when we try something new it's usually photo worthy.
We met with the most amazing guy named Luiz he is actually a referal from a friend that we are teaching. He is so excited to read the book of mormon and at the end of the lesson we asked if he had any questions for us and he asked "What could I do for you missionaries to help in helping people?" NO ONE asks that. EVER. We were so shook we didn't know how to respond.
We also taught a guy named Ney and brought Guivimar (recent convert) to teach with us and "translate." He ended up teaching most of the lesson we just sat back and watched this member of just six months outmatch our teaching game. I've never been so proud.😊
I gave a talk in our online church service yesterday about shining our light so others may see. It was based on Bonnie H Cordon's talk this last general conference. It's a good, I highly recommend you read. But in case you don't here's a good highlight "The Lord has told us that “there are many yet on the earth … who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it.” We can help. We can intentionally shine our light so others may see. We can extend an invitation. We can walk the journey with those who are taking a step toward the Savior, no matter how halting. We can gather Israel." I invite you all to pray and ponder about a way that you could shine your light so that others may see.
That's all folks. Hope you have a great week!
Cheers,
Sister Fotheringham
