Week 2
I can't believe it's already P-day. It seems like just yesterday I was writing last week's email! Time flies here!
Okay I cannot say this enough I LOVE the MTC! The campus is beautiful, the people are amazing and the food is actually really good. (I'm still not sure if it's getting better or if I'm just getting used to it) I'm sad to leave in a week, but I'm excited for what God has planned for me in Scotland and Ireland!
•MANCHESTER•
We were able to go to Manchester again yesterday, it was raining so it was a little harder to find people willing to stop and talk but we still managed to have some good conversations! It would also help if people could TAKE OUT THEIR AIRPODS haha...
One of my favorite conversations was with a guy whose english wasn't the best and claimed to have seen Jesus Christ in a dream ("I am Jesus Christ" I believe is what he said ), he was VERY enthusiastic about it until we started talking about our church haha he politely declined our message but I'm grateful for his "love" of our Savior!
•MTC LIFE•
The elders in my district are obsessed with Kolob. We sing hymn 284 at least once a day🙃

I had a Twix Mcflurry today... life changing.
British Word of the week: Trousers - don't say pants over here it means something different.
•KINGSTON CANADA•
I'd just like to end with an inspirational story about a little town named Kingston. When Thomas S. Monson first got called as a mission president in Canada, there was an area that was known for not getting a lot of converts, that area was Kingston. It had had 1 baptism in the last 6 years! No one wanted to serve there. When Monson found out he cleverly closed down the mission for a few transfers and then started a rumor about this "new" area about to open up that was just eager and ready to hear about the gospel; an area that Brigham Young himself was able to baptize 45 people in just 30 days decades before! Suddenly everyone wanted to go to this "new area." Monson sent in 2 brand new, straight from the MTC missionaries to teach there and after a few months it became the most successful area in the entire mission!! Absolutely nothing changed in Kingston the only change was the MINDSET of the missionaries!
It is AMAZING how much your mindset can change your situation not only as a missionary, but in any circumstance you might face. Which brings me to my...
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: Don't judge something or someone based on what others have said about it. Change your mindset and look at it differently!
Thanks to all those who wrote me this week! I love hearing from you, hope you all have a good one! Until next Tuesday...
