Week 5 HAIL, SNOW, RAIN and RAIN-CHECKS

"You don't know what you got till it's gone" has never been more true when it comes to the weather here in Cumbernauld! My first week here it didn't rain ONCE, it was sunny almost everyday not a cloud in the sky! Haha unfortunately I quickly found how false of a representation that week was on Monday when it rained, Tuesday when it hailed, and then again on Wednesday when it snowed! (repeat and you've got the rest of the week)  I am SO grateful for my companion this week who let me borrow a coat, scarf, gloves and hat SHE'S THE BEST!

-THE WORK-
          The lord works in mysterious ways is all I have to say. Remember those 9 QA's I told you about? Not a single ONE showed! My companion and I were so confused and a little discouraged to say the least but we continued to do the work. The most amazing thing is that at every place that we planned to meet someone who didn't show we were able to find and talk to someone else who was PREPARED and READY to hear the gospel! The Lord truly does see the BIG PICTURE; he knows where you need to be and when! I am so grateful for those "rain-checks" because of them I've learned that I need to trust in the Lord in ALL THINGS! He knows best!

-CONFERENCE-
          Okay so I LOVED General Conference before I was a missionary but now all I have to say is WOW. I felt like every talk was written for me personally it was AMAZING! I loved Elder Uchtdorf's talk when he said "Every member a missionary" That's YOU guys not just me! There are over 65 thousand of us but we can't do this alone we need YOU! Which brings me to my...

-WEEKLY COMMITMENT-
         1) Re-watch or read Elder Uchtdorf's talk 2) write down ways that you can share the gospel this week (whether it be daily acts of kindness, testimonials, sharing the gospel library app, talking about conference) 3) and DO IT! "You can do this! We can all do this together!" -Dieter F. Uchtdorf I'd like a report of your progress throughout the week(;

I LOVE you all so much! I hope you all have a great week!!
