Baptism by fire?? FEB 24
OKAY FUNNY STORY... Saturday night sister B and I were chillin' at the church preparing a few things for our friend's baptism the next day when out of no where the fire alarm went off. After a quick search we found that there was no fire, smoke or any reason for the alarms to be on but the problem was we had no clue how to turn them off. We called our ward mission leader he said he would call an Engineer to help us out. He gave the engineer our number and 30 minutes later still no call... As we are chilling there in the bathroom (where is was slightly less loud) we decided we'd say a prayer (I know cheesy) but heyy it WORKED! We had a feeling we should check out the alarm system and to our surprise we found a laminated sheet of paper with instructions on how to turn off the alarm (we swear it wasnt there before😉) it just goes to show God always answers our prayers- even if our prayer is as simple as "help us to not go deaf from this fire alarm"
I am so grateful for this gospel and how it truly changes lives for the better. Our friend Fifi was able to see this change over the last few months and was baptized yesterday. It was such a great service, tears were shed. There is no better feeling, trust me.
This last conference President Nelson has asked us to emerse ourselves in the glorious restoration. Have you been able to do that? If so email back some of the ways you've been able to. IF NOT here is a fantastic website full of ideas! Check em' out - you won't regret it.
